plans and such.

so, besides rewatching some episodes of 24 (first season, of course) and drinking pepsi (both regular and cherry flavors), i haven’t done much today.

about an hour ago, i was watching a movie with luke wilson, will ferrell, ellen pompeo, and that guy from lost.

you know, that one guy.

i never saw the name of it. i suppose i’ll wikipedia it eventually.

anyway.

i was watching it, but then i moved to the living room, and started watching the clash live on pbs.

i’ve come to the conclusion that they’re pretty interesting, but unpleasant vocally.

so, to address the title of the post:

i’m going to finish the second game in the phoenix wright series tonight. it’s the only set of games that i’ve played that have been….”good” on the ds.

the whole professor layton game you may or may not have seen (probably have, as it has a pretty big ad campaign going) and that everyone’s going ga-ga-apeshit over?

horrible, nonexistent plot. i wanted to slap the reviewer (either 1up or ign) who said it “kept you guessing until the very end”tm. i knew, children, knew the ending hours before it was confirmed.

dolt.

of course, it didn’t stop me from playing it straight through. it ain’t horrible. just ain’t comparable to many an adventure game.

(also, the whole wannabe triplets of belleville artstyle was abused[as in, executed well-ish-ly, but with a hint of shame and oregano]). and it was basically the entire selling point of the game. don’t believe me or don’t care?

from layton. this just screams shenanigans.

and yeah. basically, i think the ds is a waste.

mainly because, well, the games suck.

with that nintendo-bashing-kind-of-ranting said, heres this.

also, i plan on watching mad tv whilst eating spaghetti marinara courtesy of Michelina’s budget gourmet microwaveable dinners.

ole!
